Events and Promotions
We are raising awareness of Lincoln as a major regional centre for retail and tourism. We do this through a wide-ranging programme of events and activities that include street events, farmers’ markets, craft fairs, continental markets, road shows and exhibitions. We organise over a 100 events a year to bring vitality, vibrancy, colour and excitement to the city centre.
We are also developing a marketing strategy for the city centre in partnership with other agencies. If you want to organise your own event, let things happen near you, or find out what’s on, then we are here to help. We can assist event organisers, work in partnership or directly book and organise events.
Public Spaces
Lincoln BIG welcomes companies, charities or others who wish to put on events in Lincoln city centre. We will give you as much advice and support as possible to help you do this.
We have licences for events that cover areas including High Street, Cornhill, Castle Square, City Square and the Brayford Waterfront.
