Follow your nose! Shoppers and visitors coming to Lincoln city centre next week can look forward to being tempted by an irresistible taste of cuisine from around the world.
Lincoln BIG and Market Place Europe are bringing the much-loved Lincoln Street Food Festival back, giving people the chance to socialise and tuck into their favourite global recipes from March 1 to 4.
Talented chefs will be setting up their stalls in the High Street and rustling-up a host of wonderful fresh dishes, including many which will trigger people’s memories of happy overseas holidays.
And there will be a chance to relax with friends in the outdoor seating which will be provided in The Cornhill.
More than 10 different traders are preparing to return to Lincoln and serve up a colourful selection of specialities, including Spanish tapas, Greek Moussaka, German Bratwurst, tasty crepes and galettes and other hot favourites from Jamaica, Thailand and Mexico.
The festival will run from 9am to 9pm daily (although it closes at 5pm on Sunday), so there’s a chance to stay in the city all day and eat alfresco at breakfast, lunch and dinner time!
This event will also feature a fully-licensed Polish bar and live music on The Cornhill, adding to the unique Festival ambience.
