How to Vote
It is a legal requirement that the postal ballot will be administered by the City of Lincoln Council and will be confidential. All defined ratepayers will be entitled to one vote per entry on the rating list. The person entitled to vote – and liable for the BID levy – is the ratepayer of premises in the BID area.
Properties with a rateable value of less than £5,000 are excluded from the vote and levy.
The ballot is conducted by Andrew Taylor (the Ballot Holder), Chief Executive of the City of Lincoln Council, who is also the Returning Officer and Electoral Registration Officer for the council and staff from Electoral Services.
