Footfall Survey
With a population of 85,000 and a retail catchment of more than 500,000, Lincoln serves a large area. However, the city fails to attract as many tourist visitors as other historic city destinations in the UK.
Lincoln BIG, in partnership with other stakeholders, has identified priorities to increase the footfall in the city. This includes improving access to the city centre, improving the quality of the street scene, closer management of the evening economy, promoting Lincoln in Bloom and events.
We produce a detailed, weekly footfall count for five key locations in the city centre that shows year on year comparisons.
