Street Management
The quality of the street scene is vital to improving the enjoyment of the city centre for everyone. We aim to make a difference to the visitor experience by raising the standards of appearance of the city centre. To do this, Lincoln BIG has a street manager and team of three city centre wardens to tackle things like better signage, removing graffiti and fly posters and improving the overall cleanliness of our streets.
We offer a range of services including one-off clean and tidy-ups or regular maintenance. Lincoln BIG is happy to quote for more regular maintenance of exterior areas such as yards, alleyways and landscaping – particularly smaller areas that can often get overlooked.
Lincoln BIG will continue to tackle the number of pigeons in the city centre and reduce the impact of the mess they make on the historic fabric of the city and people’s health. This includes a major campaign to eradicate food sources and to educate the public about the damage that pigeons cause.
