Lincoln BIG is business led, business controlled and business funded. Every retailer or business based in the city centre can help decide our future priorities.

All businesses in the BID area can benefit from Lincoln BIG’s services and receive invitations to events. We do not insist that anyone joins in, but everyone is invited to take part.

Membership allows you to appoint the directors of the company, vote at the AGM and stand for election as a director.

Lincoln BIG works closely with the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce to create a number of joint services including the CityTalk newsletter. This also means that we have developed a single business voice within the city.

We also support local area representation groups through the Bailgate Area Guild, Brayford Business Forum and Sincil Street Traders Group (Contact Rachel Hanson for information). Each of these groups has their own agenda and programme of activity.

BID levy payers appoint five members to the BIG board to represent their views.
