Tune into the changing pulse of the city when Frequency International Festival of Digital Culture touches down in Lincoln.
The Festival, which aims to be a catalyst for change, returns for four days on October 24, and it promises to be a real treat for the senses.
Frequency will take to the streets and spaces with a programme entitled Disrupting The Rhythm of The City, which echoes its theme of Disruption = Cultural Reinvention.
What does it all mean? A packed-programme of exciting immersive virtual reality experiences, special installations, exhibitions, events and happenings designed to appeal to people of all ages. Some events will continue “after dark.”
A Frequency spokesman said: “For its fifth edition, streets, screens and public spaces across the city will be bursting with exciting exhibitions, talks, workshops and live performances by artists exhibiting across the UK and beyond.
“Everyone is invited to come and explore immersive and interactive digital experiences, discover thought-provoking and playful exhibitions, get inspired in family-friendly workshops and activities and get involved in debates about digital culture that affects us all.”
Lincoln BIG Sarah Loftus said: “We are delighted to welcome the return of the innovative Frequency Festival to the city. It always features cutting edge ideas and amazing experiences which attract many more visitors to Lincoln.”
