And organisers John Naylor and Karen Grover said they are delighted that the Business Improvement Group is supporting this highlight in the city's events' calendar, which delivers an extra special boost to the local economy.
There will be plenty to see, with Steampunk enthusiasts turning out in an amazing array of fantastic outfits. Watch out for crinoline dresses, waist-whittling corsets, feathered hats and men wearing quirky outfits, including some with a military flavour - not to mention fabulous accessories, such as flying goggles, timepieces and mock weaponry!
Lovers of everything Steampunk have an absolutely packed progamme to enjoy at 18 venues across the city - with events including Mad Hatters' Tea Parties, a Steampunk Market, Jet Pack Races and much more.
