The Business Improvement Group has teamed-up with The Cosy Club in the city’s Cornhill Quarter and the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, overlooking Lincoln’s magnificent Brayford Pool to run a fun competition.

And the winners of our #LOVELINCOLNTRAIL will walk away with a £60 meal voucher for The Cosy Club and enjoy bed-and-breakfast at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel.

For the third year running, Lincoln BIG will be installing five giant red iron love hearts on the city’s streets.  All couples, partners and friends have to do is use these as innovative selfie photo props.

Lincoln BIG Events & Marketing Assistant Jacinta Peachey said: “To enter participants need to upload images taken with all five love hearts to Instagram, using the layout or carousel format.  They should also add the hashtag  #LOVELINCOLNTRAIL and tag-in the valentine that would love to share the prize with.

“Selfies need to be uploaded by Sunday, February 17, to be entered in a prize draw.  The winner will be picked at random on February 18.  We are also encouraging people to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up-to-date with Lincoln’s Valentine’s Day promotions and offers.”

This year the hearts will be on display from February 9 to 17.  They can be found at St Marks Shopping Centre, in the Lower High Street, City Square, Brayford Wharf and Castle Hill.

Tracking down the hearts offers shoppers and visitors another great opportunity to visit one of Lincoln’s BIG 800 levy payers, for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea or to do a spot of shopping.   It’s all part of the city’s great experience.
