The mission of the upcoming project ‘To Jazz Thru Life’ is to encourage new audiences to experience jazz, while warmly welcoming current jazz fans. These days, it’s a common misconception that jazz is only for older audiences or certain backgrounds. Jazz is music of freedom, courage, and improvisation. Thanks to the support of Arts Council England, we are able to bring top UK jazz musicians to the city of Lincoln.

The aim of the project is to encourage new audiences to listen to jazz music. The mission of the organisation is to expand jazz audience as it recognises jazz music is at risk due to aging audience and now attendance to jazz gigs. Thanks to the funding the tickets prices are affordable and offer generous student prices.
In total 4 gigs will happen throughout the year starting on Saturday 7 March. Three gigs will take place at The Birdcage Pub Lincoln, this an opportunity to experience top UK jazz musicians in jazzy setting of the Birdcage Pub
