Lincoln BIG is delighted to announce the launch of the GEM Awards 2026, celebrating the exceptional businesses that help make Lincoln a vibrant, welcoming and successful city.

The GEM Awards recognise excellence across retail, hospitality, leisure, professional services and visitor economy sectors. From independent start-ups to national brands, the awards shine a spotlight on businesses that consistently deliver outstanding service, quality and customer experience.

This year, businesses are permitted to submit one nomination only, in one category.

New for 2026, we are inviting members of the public to nominate businesses located within the Lincoln BIG BID area. This includes businesses operating from St Mark’s through to Newport giving the wider community the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the businesses they love. View our BID business map here.

The awards celebrate the diversity and strength of Lincoln’s business community, from those enhancing the daytime economy to those driving the evening and visitor experience.
