A brand-new local radio station, Magna Radio, is launching on 8th February, bringing with it a renewed focus on local advertising for Lincolnshire-based businesses and presenter-led local radio.

Broadcasting from studios in the heart of Lincoln, Magna Radio is being created to bring back local radio and will be providing affordable advertising to help Lincolnshire-based businesses by helping them reach customers who live, work and spend locally. The station will cover Lincolnshire and feature a strong line-up of well-known presenters returning to the county’s airwaves, including John Marshall, alongside other familiar voices.

Magna Radio is designed to put local businesses back at the centre of local radio. At a time when many high street businesses feel overlooked by national media or lost in crowded digital platforms, the station offers a genuinely local route to market - built around community connection.

Alongside advertising and sponsorship opportunities, Magna Radio is placing a strong emphasis on community engagement. This includes supporting local charities, working with business groups, and helping business owners better understand how to market themselves effectively.

As part of this, Magna Radio will be hosting a series of business-focused marketing presentations in early March at The Showroom, YMCA, Tritton Road, Lincoln. These sessions are designed to offer practical insight into local marketing, audience engagement and making advertising work harder for B2C businesses. Further details and invitations will be shared directly with businesses.

Magna Radio is also proud to be partnering with the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Charity, and have become friends of Lincoln Cathedral reinforcing its commitment to supporting vital local causes while championing Lincolnshire enterprise.

Businesses interested in advertising, sponsorship or learning more about Magna Radio can find further information at www.magnaradio.co.uk or by following Magna Radio on Facebook.
