This year, the New Theatre Royal in Lincoln are teaming up with Lincolnshire charity, EDAN Lincs Domestic Abuse Service, to give local families some Christmas magic thanks to their NTR Wishes initiative.

NTR Wishes aims to give deprived families the opportunity to experience the joy and magic of theatre this Christmas by sponsoring them with pantomime tickets.

The New Theatre Royal, Lincoln believes that everyone should have access to the fun, spectacle, and escapism of theatre, especially during the holiday season. Unfortunately, not everyone is in a financial position to do so. That's why NTR Wishes was developed, to enable businesses to sponsor families by purchasing pantomime tickets for them.

EDAN Lincs is excited to work with the New Theatre Royal Lincoln on this initiative, and to distribute some of the donated tickets to families in their care who have experienced domestic abuse. The initiative has already received support from local businesses, however the theatre is still looking for more businesses to get involved as there are many families deserving of this incredible gesture.

EDAN Lincs offers advice and support to anyone that has been impacted by domestic abuse; through its Outreach Service and emergency refuge accommodation, offering support to men or women, with or without children, who are suffering or have suffered domestic abuse.

In recent years, local businesses including Stokes Tea & CoffeeLCS IT Support, FFN Lincoln, Baa Baby, Ruddocks, BW Beauty, White Hart Hotel, Twisted Tension Realities and Saul Fairholm were amongst those who made donations, and this year you can be part of this brilliant initiative too.

If any local businesses or individuals would like to be involved in, or want some information about, NTR Wishes then they can contact 07719 184188 or click here to email.

All businesses that are involved will be publicly recognised and thanked, whilst being invited to enjoy the traditional pantomime themselves this Christmas.
