Organ Grinder Opening

Blue monkey brewery started in 2008, brewing in the old Jarrow brewery kit purchased from them. After a couple of years brewing we saw huge demand and countless awards and moved in 2010 to our present site in Giltbrook Nottingham. As the business grew, we opened our first Organ Grinder pub on Alfreton Road in Nottingham. This was soon followed by Three more. Loughborough, Newark and Arnold. They are all named the Organ Grinder but hold the original pub signs within the building.

We brew around 450,000 litres of beer a year with all tastes catered for. IPA and stouts a speciality but we do lots of craft beers from pales to fruited and sours alike.

The business has a solid reputation for consistent brews so no brew should taste different from the last one. This attention to quality and detail has won us many awards over the last 16 years and hopefully into the future.

In 2022 we introduced our own canning line to improve our range even further, this led to more beer in keg as well.

In late 2024 we purchased the adjacent building to the brewery, On August 1^st, 2025, we opened our long-awaited brewery tap room.

August 8^th, 2025, saw us opening Organ Grinder Lincoln based in the former Beerheadz bar on Eastgate in the City. (Near the Cathedral). This has undergone a refurbishment and has an offering of 6 cask ales and 10 Keg beers, along with a can shop and your usual bar offerings from soft drinks to wines and spirits. Did you know we also do Gin and Rum!

There will be regular quiz nights and music. Keep an eye out on social media or details will be in the bar.
