The King’s Awards for Enterprise - Apply or Miss Out on Royal Recognition!
Lincolnshire businesses and organisations are being encouraged to apply for a King’s Award for Enterprise to ensure they are recognised for their achievements. Applications for the latest awards are now open and the deadline for applications is 9th September 2025. Those with at least 2 full-time UK employees or part-time equivalents who can demonstrate strong environmental, social and governance practices, could be eligible for an Award. Businesses, non-profit and public sector organisations can all apply in the categories of:
- Innovation
- International trade
- Sustainable development
- Promoting opportunity through social mobility
Award winners are invited to a Royal reception and are presented with the award at their company by the King’s representative - the Lord-Lieutenant.
Ursula Lidbetter DL, said: “Lincolnshire businesses and organisations could be missing out on lots of benefits from these awards. If you get an award you not only get local praise for your work, but previous winners report that it boosts staff morale, gets them more recognition nationally and internationally, and can even increase their commercial value.
“I know that there is so much excellent work going on in our county that deserves to be rewarded.”
