Barbican Creative Hub Strengthens Support for Creative Businesses with Launch of New Online Member Directory
The Barbican Creative Hub is continuing to strengthen its support for Lincolnshire’s creative industries with the launch of a new online member directory designed to raise visibility, encourage collaboration and support business growth across the county.
The new directory will provide a dedicated platform for freelancers, creatives, makers, agencies and businesses to showcase their work, connect with new clients and collaborators and raise their profile across Lincolnshire and beyond.
Each Barbican member will have their own public-facing profile, allowing businesses and organisations searching for creative services to discover local talent quickly and easily, alongside direct contact information.
The initiative forms part of the Barbican’s wider commitment to strengthening Lincolnshire’s creative economy and creating meaningful opportunities for connection, collaboration and growth across the sector.
Since opening, the Barbican Creative Hub has quickly established itself as one of Lincoln’s most exciting creative and business destinations, bringing together freelancers, entrepreneurs, remote workers, creatives and growing businesses through workspace, events, networking and business support activity.
The launch of the directory builds on a growing programme of creative industry initiatives at the Barbican, including workshops, networking events, podcasting facilities, collaborative partnerships and member-led activity designed to support sustainable growth and strengthen creative connections across Greater Lincolnshire.
Andrew Tinley, General Manager at the Barbican Creative Hub, said:
“Creative businesses thrive through visibility, collaboration and connection and the new member directory has been designed to support exactly that.
We want the Barbican to be more than just a workspace. It’s about creating a stronger and more connected creative ecosystem across Lincolnshire.
The directory is another important step in helping creative businesses become more visible, better connected and better supported, while continuing to place the creative industries at the heart of what we’re building here in Lincoln and across Greater Lincolnshire.”
Alongside the new directory, Barbican members benefit from unlimited coworking access, networking opportunities, member-only events and podcasting facilities, as well as access to The Hive, the Barbican’s upcoming creative technology space featuring VR, AR, green screen facilities and high-spec Macs.
Designed to support creativity, collaboration and sustainable business growth, Barbican memberships start from £32 per month and include unlimited coworking access, member events, podcasting facilities and opportunities to connect with a growing network of creatives and businesses across Lincolnshire.
As demand for memberships and collaborative opportunities continues to grow, the Barbican Creative Hub is positioning itself as a key driver for creative sector growth and innovation within Lincoln and Greater Lincolnshire.
