BEAR Comes to Lincoln: Beloved Coffee & Brunch Brand Announces Its Ninth Location in the Heart of the City

The popular independent coffee house, kitchen & bar brand will open its doors in the former Three Joes building, Cornhill Quarter, with a summer 2026 launch on the horizon.
BEAR, the independent brand that has won the hearts of food and drink lovers across the UK with its speciality coffee, brunch menus and craft cocktails, is thrilled to announce the opening of its ninth location and its fi rst in Lincolnshire. The new BEAR will take up residence in the iconic former Three Joes building in Lincoln’s Cornhill Quarter, with doors expected to open in summer 2026.

The Cornhill Quarter site, a well-loved landmark in Lincoln city centre provides the perfect backdrop for BEAR’s ninth home. Known for its characterful, community-focused spaces, BEAR will breathe new life into the building, creating a warm and welcoming destination for Lincoln locals, students, workers, and visitors alike.

The move to Lincoln also marks a natural expansion of BEAR’s already well-established presence in the East Midlands. With thriving locations in both Derby and Nottingham, BEAR is no stranger to the region and Lincoln represents an exciting next step in bringing the BEAR experience to even more communities across the area.
